At the heart of the « white city », come and discover the rattan collection « Cane Lab »! Rattan, usually used to make traditional furniture, serves here to create handcrafted designed furniture in a 50’s style. They will captivate you and will perfectly fit to your garden or home front. Each piece needs several days of work, as it is hand made according to traditional caning techniques. Material quality and finishing touches are made the priority. Cane Lab also associates a social project to its company, hiring deaf and mute people from the NGO “Dance with signs” to create the products. Recently opened in Romain Rolland Street, come and discover at YAKA Home Design boutique, all the “Cane Lab” creations as the Lucy, the Stone Sofa, or else the Love Chair.
Come and discover YAKA Home Design, the union of around ten creators, who associates with elegantly creativity and ethic. In that luminous and aerated space, you will find the “Cane Lab” rattan furniture. Hand-crafted in Pondicherry, they propose refined design and finishing touches. The boutique also offers coconut wood furniture, ceramic, objects in “papier mâché”, handbags, and bags made of tetra pak or recycled video track. Go and see these unique series of original, colourful and designed products, which are harmoniously directed in the shop.
